Highlands Friend s of Haiti has had Singing Rooster Coffee available at church and on Saturday at the farmer’s market at Founders Park for several years.  There is both ground and whole bean.  The cost is $10 a bag.   About a third of the cost goes to the Haitian farmer, a third to roast and package the coffee, and a third to continue with the partnership Incarnation has with our brothers and sisters in the Central Plateau of Haiti.

In April as we were going to the airport to fly home, we stopped by the Singing Rooster office.  Four people were sitting around a table with a pile of green coffee beans in front of them.  They were going through the beans picking out the ones that were not perfect.  We were told there is a machine that can do what the four people were doing, but for them to do this gives them a job and income.  Next the beans were roasted and packaged. Please try some of this delicious coffee to enjoy while supporting employment in Haiti and the efforts of Highlands Friend of Haiti.
