We all want to eat well so that we can live well. Fresh, nutrient-rich food can be hard to come by, especially access to fresh vegetables. The Tower Garden Community Garden is a vertical, aeroponic growing system that will provide fresh leafy greens to our very own Highlands Food Pantry. In as little as 225 square feet, we will grow 336 plants using 90% less water and 90% less space than traditional gardening.

The Tower Garden Community Garden is not only a source of fresh, local food, it’s also a source of education and community relationship building on our journey toward healthy living. We can grow strong, healthy plants with minimal effort all while growing strong, healthy bodies and minds as well!

We need YOU to make this work! Please consider giving of your time and financial resources to get this garden started! We want to provide fresh food to those in need THIS SEASON! Thank you for all you have already done as a church body for the community of Highlands!

To send your 501c3 tax-deductible, monetary donations, please send a check made out to The International Friendship Center, earmarked specifically for Food Pantry/Tower Garden. Their address is 348 South 5th St, Highlands, NC 28741.
