The stained-glass windows in our chapel are a stunning feature of our church. They depict various biblical scenes while incorporating images from the Highlands Plateau like native flowers, familiar animals, and even a depiction of turn-of-the-century Highlands. We also have the beautiful wooden doors that lead into the Fifth Street lobby, which were crafted by the artist Henry La Cagnina.

Now we have something to offer the many visitors to our chapel who want to know more about our chapel. Mercedes Heller and Frank Oliver worked together for several months with photographer Kevin Fitzpatrick to create a guide to our chapel windows and door panels. Our former interim rector, the Rev. Rusty Goldsmith, also assisted by offering interpretation of the Christian symbolism used by the artists.

This guide will be available for sale in the narthex of the chapel, and in the church offices, for $5.00. This cost will cover the printing of the booklets, with the profit going towards the maintenance of the windows and doors.
